The newly added electric SUV has been offered in a rear-wheel-drive layout. It will arrive in the international market somewhere in August. 

Audi, the leading player in the luxury four-wheeler segment, has added a new entry-level trim in the Q6 e-tron range.  The latest offering has been developed using the same Scalable Premium Platform Electric (PPE).

The newly added electric SUV has been offered in a rear-wheel-drive layout, offering a smooth driving experience to the customers with an improved range.  It will arrive in the international market somewhere in August.

Battery and Range

As per the details shared by the brand, the latest base trim is powered by a robust lithium-ion 100 kWh battery pack. The unit sends an impressive amount of power to its single motor, which is mounted at the rear axle. The company claims that the e-SUV can provide an impressive range of up to 640 km (WLTP) on a single charge.

It further can be enhanced to 260 km in just 10 minutes, using an appropriate DC fast-charging.

Power and acceleration

In case you are wondering how fast it is. Let us tell you that the company claims that the rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron is capable of doing 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.6 seconds, and has a maximum power of 322 bhp.

Ongoing Trims

Apart from the newly added trim, the Audi has two more variants in the product line – Q6 e-tron Quattro and SQ6. The former delivers a maximum output of 382 bhp with a claimed range of 625 km, while the latter churns out a maximum power of 483 bhp. It also can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

Despite, flaunting updated power figures and improved range, the rear-wheel-drive e-SUV looks identical to its other siblings. Even from the inside, nothing has been changed as it continues to offer a triple screen layout, featuring an 11.9-inch instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch infotainment unit for the front passenger, and a 14.5-inch central curved touchscreen infotainment unit, which is supported by all the wireless car connect technology.
