In a bid to strengthen its network reach, Mercedes-Benz India inaugurated two outlets on December 7 - a 3S dealership in Guwahati and a state-of-the-art workshop in Ahmedabad.
Mercedes Benz dealership Axom Motors was opened in Guwahati, which is a latest addition to the brand's list of luxury destinations and will prove useful in the emerging market.
Densest network presence for a luxury brand: Axom Motors Guwahati, is the sixth outlet of Mercedes-Benz in the Eastern market and the 88th across India spread over 41 cities.
The 3S luxury car dealership is located on the national highway and is spread over an area of 36,000 sq ft. with facilities like sales, service and spares all located under one roof.
It took an investment Rs INR 4 crore to set up the outlet, which has 46 professionally trained staff to deliver Mercedes level service. The workshop has six service bays for maintenance and repairs.
The workshop in Ahmedabad, Benchmark Cars will cater to growing servicing needs of its discerning customers in the city. It is spread in an area of 54,852 sq ft, and provides facilities such as service, spare part sales and all PMGR Work.
It will have 72 professionally trained staff to serve the customers.
With a total investment of Rs INR 12.70 crore, it took a year to set up the workshop. This will be the 10th Mercedes-Benz outlet from Benchmark Cars in India. It is equipped with 25 PMGR (Periodic maintenance general repair) bays, nine exclusive body paint bays, which is capable of servicing 42 cars per day.
Mercedes-Benz retains the distinction of having the most comprehensive network reach for any luxury car maker in India with 88 outlets across 41 cities.
