In a bid to accelerate the success of the recently launched Tata Harrier facelift, Tata Motors has unveiled a captivating television commercial (TVC) showcasing the mid-size SUV’s revamped exterior and interior.
The commercial, released on Tata Motors Cars’ official YouTube channel, emphasises the sporty nature of the Harrier facelift and spotlights its top three variants: Dark Edition, Fearless+ and Adventure+.
The TVC kicks off with three protagonists taking the wheel of their respective Harriers. A female actress commands the vibrant yellow Harrier Fearless+, an actor emerges from a gym to sit inside the Dark Edition Harrier and a photographer takes control of the Adventure+ variant.
The actors are then depicted driving their Harriers in a spirited manner, highlighting the sportiness of the SUV. The commercial culminates with the vehicles navigating an open and dusty desert, showcasing the top-spec variants side by side, accompanied by the tagline, “We are Warriors, We are Harriers."
Unveiled in October, the 2023 Tata Harrier facelift features a futuristic front fascia with connected LED DRL, a new grille and LED headlights. The rear sports connected LED taillights and a redesigned bumper with a silver skid plate.
The interior of the Harrier has undergone a significant upgrade, boasting electrically adjustable seats with a memory function, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, drive modes, paddle shifters, a fully digital instrument cluster, a gloss black centre console with touch buttons for AC control, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone AC, and a spacious 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Safety features include ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and a 360-degree camera, complemented by six airbags as standard.
Under the hood, the Harrier facelift continues to be powered by the reliable 2.0-litre Fiat-sourced Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine, producing 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque.
The engine is available with both a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission option.
The pricing for the 2023 Tata Harrier facelift starts at Rs 16.99 lakh, ex-showroom, and reaches up to Rs 26.44 lakh, ex-showroom.
With the introduction of the dynamic TVC, Tata Motors aims to further bolster the popularity of the Harrier facelift in the competitive mid-size SUV market.
