It is widely believed that the devotees of lord Krishna are spread in every part of the world. A recent video going viral in recent times is further solidifying the belief. The Sri Krishna Temple, located in Udupi city of Karnataka, recently witnessed the French people singing the Krishna Bhajan on the chariot street of the temple. Some French tourists came to visit the Sri Krishna Temple. After praying to lord Krishna, the bunch was seen performing Hare Krishna on the temple premises. This left the crowd in awe.
The French tourists sang the Bhakti song of Krishna and Rama with enthusiasm while playing drums, harmonium and tabla. The French tourists didn’t miss any beat of the song and sang beautifully. This attracted the attention of the crowd. In the viral video, it could be seen that a French man accompanied by two of his mates was holding musical instruments in the middle of the temple. The man in a grey shirt coupled with a white dhoti was singing the song Hare Krishna while others were playing the tabla and harmonium. After looking at their performance, some locals started dancing with the foreigners.

Udupi’s Shri Krishna Temple is a well-known historic Hindu temple which is dedicated to lord Krishna and Dvaita Matha. The Matha area is like an Ashram where devotees come and live. It is also termed as the holy place for the lord Krishna devotees. There are several temples which surround this holy place. One of them is Udupi Anantheshwara Temple. It is over a thousand years old.
India is a favourite place for many foreigners. A former mayor of France, Maichel Gaillot, said that he has been visiting India with his friends and family for the past 11 years. In an interview with The Hindu, he said that he has been coming to India since 2012, especially to Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
