'Daughter Brings Happiness, Son Brings Wealth': Kannada Actor Prem

Kannada actor Prem has completed more than two decades of an illustrious acting career in the Kannada film industry. He is fondly known as the lovely star of the Sandalwood. Prem credits his daughter Amrutha Prem and son Ekanth Prem for a major share of success in his life. He has appreciated both his children in many interviews.

He said in an interview, “If a daughter brings happiness, a son brings wealth.” Prem recalled how he was facing a lot of financial problems when his daughter Amrutha was born. He also didn’t have enough resources to celebrate the occasion of Diwali. Pre added that he was very happy with his daughter’s birth. Prem said that his daughter’s birth meant a lot to her. He had to face a lot of problems in terms of work and had to put in a lot of effort as well.

Prem and his wife’s happiness, however, knew no bounds when they returned home to meet their daughter. As per Prem, he also witnessed financial success, when his son Ekanth was born.

Prem was also on cloud nine in 2019 when his children excelled in the field of academics. He had tweeted about their accomplishments on April 15, 2019. He wrote, “Hi guys my daughter got 91% in 2nd PUC and my son got 3rd Rank in 8th std. I am blessed.”

In Karnataka, higher secondary education is known as PUC or the Pre-University Course. The course lasts 2 years, the first year, or Class 11, is known as 1st PUC. On the other hand, the second year, or Class 12, is called 2nd PUC.

Prem is currently at the pinnacle of his acting career in the Kannada cinema. He talked about it in an interview with the Times of India. Prem said, “I wonder whether it is me who has achieved so much. At the same time, there’s a side of me that thinks this isn’t as much and I need to do a lot more. But, when I consider my background and where I come from, to have been able to continue for 20 years with success, failure, support, and fanfare…it makes me look at it with gratitude. I feel proud of my journey when I look back.”
