Anup Jalota along with other passengers hummed 'Jai Shri Ram' while boarding a flight to Ayodhya.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 22. Numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar and Randeep Hooda, among others, have been invited to the ceremony. Ahead of the big day, popular devotional singer Anup Jalota was captured humming a ‘Ram Bhajan’ along with the passengers while boarding a flight to Ayodhya.

In a video that was shared by a social media user by the name Lhendup Gyatso on his Instagram timeline, Anup Jalota can be seen boarding a flight to the unanimous humming of ‘Jai Shri Ram, Jai Jai Shri Ram’ in the background. The accomplished singer hummed along with them after which others also followed his lead. The post was captioned, “On a delayed flight to Ayodhya, as the last of the passengers board the aircraft, in walks Anoop Jalota .”

Anup Jalota gained fame with the bhajan Aisi Lagi Lagan has carved a special place in the hearts of music enthusiasts. From soulful bhajans to enchanting ghazals and captivating film songs, he has won a massive fan following, making him a well-known and respected figure in the world of Indian music.

For the unversed, the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Lalla within the temple is scheduled between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm on January 22. Besides PM Modi, The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple inauguration will be attended by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, and president of the temple trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. It is reported that over 7,000 people have been invited by the temple trust.

The Ram temple complex, built in the traditional Nagara style, will be 380 feet in length (east-west direction), 250 feet in width and 161 feet in height, Rai had said earlier. Each floor of the temple will be 20 feet high and have a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates. No iron is used anywhere in the construction of the temple.

Temples made in the Nagara style are characterised by their towering spires or shikharas, intricate carvings, and symbolic representations. They have meticulous craftsmanship, as visible in the magnificent Khajuraho temples of Madhya Pradesh.
