Fighter FIRST Review Out: Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone Film Is Brilliant 'King Size Entertainer'

Fighter first review is out and it has nothing but praises for Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand. Releasing today, January 25, Fighter marks the first big-budget theatrical release of the year. The first review of the film was shared by trade expert Taran Adarsh on X, previously known Twitter. Giving the film a solid 4 and a half stars, Taran called Fighter a ‘brilliant’ film in his review. He also was impressed with Hrithik, Deepika and Anil Kapoor’s performances.

“#Fighter is a smartly-woven product that steers away from blatant jingoism, yet makes a solid statement as the drama unfolds… Well-mounted, with some awe-inspiring visuals, aerial combat portions, clap worthy dialogue and a terrific second half, #Fighter delivers what it promises: a larger-than-life big-screen experience… Most importantly, #Fighter is a fitting homage to those bravehearts who guard our nation selflessly,” he added.

Speaking about the performances, Taran said, “#HrithikRoshan is, without doubt, the show stopper. He displays valour, restraint and rage with incredible honesty. He owns every sequence he appears in, makes every moment come alive with a stellar act… #DeepikaPadukone is top notch, handling the demanding part with flourish. The on-screen pairing [#HrithikRoshan – #DeepikaPadukone] gives the film that extra sheen.”

He also praised the supporting cast. “#AnilKapoor is flawless, as always. Excels in several sequences… The supporting cast is just perfect: #KaranSinghGrover is first-rate, while #AkshayOberoi is wonderful… #RishabhSawhney, the antagonist, is menacing to the hilt,” Taran concluded his review.

Fighter has a run time of 2 hours and 46 minutes. The Central Board of Film Certification has also granted it a U/A certification to the film. The film is expected to record an impressive box office opening.
