New Delhi: In a first of its kind exercise in India, an exclusive one-day interactive session on the issues, challenges and opportunities faced by insurance companies in rural India is being organised by the Rural Marketing Agencies Association of India (RMAAI) in Hyderabad on June 12 reports Financial Express.
The session will exclusively focus on rural insurance, including disseminating knowledge on many aspects of rural marketing among the corporate sector and management students in the country.
According to RV Rajan, president, RMAAI, the session will be attended by former Irda chairman and currently advisor to Andhra Pradesh CM, N Rangachary.
The other speakers include Bipul Chatterjee of Birla Sunlife, Joydeep Roy of Tata AIG, Mukti Bosco of Healing Fields Foundation, NN Joshi of the ING Group and M Prashad of Agriculture Insurance Company of India.
The session will also feature issues like importance given to rural marketing efforts by the corporate sector and courses on rural marketing to management. That apart, some case studies are expected to be presented on the day, he added.
