NDA Budget has copied UPA policies, nothing new: Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi: The NDA government's maiden budget failed to impress Congress president Sonia Gandhi who called the Finance Budget of the new government as a copy of UPA's policies.

"The Budget had nothing new. It has merely copied our policies and schemes," Sonia Gandhi told reporters.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi too, slammed the budget as nothing extraordinary. "The Budget doesn't quicken the pulse but slows it down," said Rahul Gandhi.

The financial Budget of NDA government failed to garner a positive reaction from most of its oppositions who largely dismissed it as vague and overambitious.
