New Delhi: Low-fare airline SpiceJet has come up with another offer with ticket prices as low as Rs 999. The offer is open from July to July 10 for air travel between January 6, 2015 and October 24, 2015. Ten lakh tickets are up for grabs under the offer.
While Rs 999 is the basic fare excluding taxes, the ticket prices remain low as compared to other airlines under this offer. Launching the offer on the day of the announcement of the Rail Budget, SpiceJet calls the offer 'lower than train fares'.
The offer covers travel to and from various cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.
The offer comes even as SpiceJet suffered a loss of over Rs 191 crore in 2012-13 while the highest-ever loss of Rs 1,003 crore in 2013-
14.
