Poornima Ravi To Be Evicted From House In Bigg Boss Tamil 7: Report

Bigg Boss Tamil 7 premiered on October 1, with actor Kamal Haasan reprising his role of the host. The season started off with 18 contestants; and as of now, 2 have been evicted. Now, as per reports, actress Poornima Ravi can be the next in the line for eviction this week. Reportedly, the reason behind Poornima’s eviction could be the defamatory comments made by her and actress Maya S Krishnan against actor Pradeep Antony. He had been ousted from the house and was shown the red card. He was called a threat to the female contestants.

Some of the viewers, however, are of the opinion that there will be no elimination this week because of Diwali.

Kamal Haasan has drawn immense criticism for evicting Pradeep without investigating the entire matter. A popular opinion emerged on the internet that he should arrange for Pradeep to come back to the show. There were some reports that makers were trying to arrange a wild card entry for Pradeep. He confirmed these reports on X. He wrote, “If you are considering sending me in, I want two red cards to send off 2 contestants who conspired against me and I want to be the Captain 7th week of BB7.”

The housemates in Bigg Boss Season 7 were divided into two groups after the eviction of Pradeep. The two groups are led by Maya and actress Vichithra respectively. Notably, Maya’s gang was referred to as the Bully Gang by social media users.

Vichithra stood up for Pradeep. She uttered a remark that didn’t go down well with the viewers.  She strongly criticised the women for not speaking up sooner. She argued that reporting rape cases even a week later is futile as “evidence would have vanished by then, and the wounds have healed.”

Actress Raveena Daha protested against this remark, but Vichithra stood by her opinion. She suggested that the claims of sexual violence would lose their credibility if not reported properly. Many users have expressed their disapproval of Vichithra’s recent comments. They expressed disapproval over her lack of understanding regarding the stigma surrounding issues that threaten women’s safety.
