This is Mahalakshmi’s first post on social media after her husband’s arrest. Recently, Ravinder Chandrasekharan was arrested for allegedly cheating a businessman of Rs 15.83 crore. He allegedly prepared fake documents that promised significant profits from an investment in a project that was aimed at generating electricity from solid waste. Balaji, a Chennai resident, became the victim of this alleged fraudulent scheme.

Ravindar Chandrasekaran allegedly informed Balaji about a scheme to generate electricity from solid waste. He also mentioned that if Balaji increased his investment, he would become a partner in the venture. Trusting this proposal, Balaji handed over Rs 16 crores to Ravinder, who ultimately purportedly cheated him. Subsequently, a complaint was filed on Balaji’s behalf with the Chennai Central Crime Branch. Acting on this complaint, the police initiated a case and conducted an inquiry, leading to the arrest of Ravindar Chandrasekaran. The investigation is currently underway.
