Rohit Sharma brought out the style as he smashed Sharafuddin Ashraf for a reverse-hit six during India’s third T20I against Afghanistan at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The incident happened on the second last ball of the 12 over of India’s innings. The Indian skipper had smashed the Afghan bowler on the previous ball as well and decided to switch things up.

Rohit went on to score a hundred, becoming the first batter in the history of the sport to score five T20I centuries.
In the end, Rohit Sharma stayed unbeaten 121 from just 69 balls as he got there with the help of 11 boundaries and 8 sixes.
India were in trouble after losing the first four batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Shivam Dube and Sanju Samson for just 22 runs and that too inside five overs.
Sanju, along with Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Yadav, had come in for Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh and Jitesh Sharma in the Indian XI. Afghanistan brought in four players as part of wholesale changes to its bowling lineup.
Rohit along with Rinku stitched together a 150+ run partnership to take India towards a respectable total of 212 without losing any more wickets in their quota of 20 overs.
India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series after wins in Mohali and Indore, both by six-wicket margins.
It is the final T20 for India before the format’s World Cup, to be hosted in the West Indies and the United States from June 1.
