Former Pakistan Cricketer, Danish Kaneria Delighted After Ram Lalla's Pran Pratishtha Ceremony in Ayodhya
The Ram Mandir's Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya garnered the attention of several international cricketers others also expressed their happiness on this auspicious occasion.

The idol of Ram Lalla was installed at the Ram Temple after the consecration ceremony on Monday. The highly anticipated ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony took place on Monday in Ayodhya in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other eminent personalities. Pran Pratishtha is a rite in which a temple consecrates a murti. The auspicious event gained the attention of several international cricketers as well. While legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble attended the event in Ayodhya, global faces like David Warner and Keshav Maharaj also expressed their happiness on this auspicious occasion.

Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria, who is the second Hindu player to represent his country after Anil Dalpat, also celebrated the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. “The wait of centuries is over, the pledge is fulfilled, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ is completed,” Kaneria wrote on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, sharing a picture of Lord Ram.

David Warner, who is known for his affinity towards Indian culture and tradition, also shared a post, featuring a picture of Lord Ram on Instagram. “Jai Sri Ram India,” read the post uploaded by the Aussie cricketer.

South Africa international Keshav Maharaj, who hails from a Hindu family, also shared his joy over the grand event in Ayodhya. “Jai Shri Ram,” the South Africa spinner wrote on X.

Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar expressed his happiness to be a part of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. “Happy to be at the new Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Its astounding architecture is set to impress anyone who pays a visit. Glad to have received Shri Ram’s blessings,” Master Blaster wrote on X sharing a glimpse of the ceremony.

Former India skipper and spin legend Anil Kumble was also present at the event in Ayodhya. “It is a wonderful occasion, a very divine occasion. Blessed to be a part of this. It’s very historic. Looking forward to seeking blessings from Ram Lalla,” Kumble said.

More than 7,000 people were on the list of invitees for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, cricketers Venkatesh Prasad, Mithali Raj, and badminton player Saina Nehwal also attended the ceremony.
