South Africa pacer Nandre Burger picked up three wickets in that game. During the run chase, the Proteas lost two wickets and reached the target with 45 balls to spare. South Africa opening batter Tony de Zorzi scored a sublime hundred to earn a much-needed win for his side. He was, quite rightfully, named player of the match for his terrific batting. Earlier, India had kicked off the ODI series on a promising note having won the first match by eight wickets.
