The Indian cricket team were seen enjoying some time off playing some beach volleyball ahead of their Super 8 fixtures in the T20 World Cup 2024 taking place in the West Indies and the United States of America.
Members of the Indian squad were seen having some fun at the sandy beaches of Barbados after ensuring their qualification to the Super 8s by beating the likes of Ireland, Pakistan and the USA while their last game against Canada was washed out due to rain.

Khaleel Ahmed the left-arm pacer who is part of the reserves was seen giving some special praise to the likes of Rinku Singh and Yashasvi Jaiswal as the two decent beach volleyball players within the squad.

Among other members who were in the video include the likes of Arshdeep Singh, Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shivam Dube and many others including some members of the team management.
The break will be vital for the Indian team to get their mind off cricket before they head into the next stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 where the competition is going to be a step up from what they have seen so far.

India have ticked a lot of boxes in their group-stage fixtures with their bowling but their batting unit has been a cause of concern with the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli being unable to find their best form at the top of the order. Rishabh Pant has been the only batter to be able to take on the bowlers despite conditions being pitted against him and his form will be vital in India’s campaign for the rest of the tournament.
But now as the tournament shifts to the Caribbean, the batting unit might likely come good with the wickets being a bit more favourable to the batters than what he has seen in the USA. India will begin their Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 by taking on Afghanistan at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 20.
