Ahead of the start of the three-match Test series between Pakistan and England, here's a look at top performers and record holders in the 89 Tests played so far between the two teams.

Pakistan will face England in a three-match Test series that starts on October 7. The series opener is scheduled to take place in Multan, and the second match will also be played at the same venue from October 15 to 19, whereas Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host the third and final match of the bilateral series from October 24 to 28. After whitewashing the West Indies and defeating Sri Lanka 2-1 in front of home fans, England would like to come up with a big show against Pakistan as well.

Pakistan, on the other hand, would like to bounce back from a shocking defeat in the last series played against Bangladesh and get the better of Ben Stokes & Co. in front of home fans.
