As the premier T20 event rolls around, players from all ten sides have been joining up with their respective camps one after the other and the joint-most successful side in the history of the tournament Mumbai Indians welcomed their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah back to the unit with a special video.

MI shared a video of the star Indian seamer with a caption that read, “Ready to road” as a famous Punjabi sound track played in the background.

Mumbai Indians will get their campaign underway with a massive encounter against the previous edition runner-ups Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on the 24th of March.

The match will be noted for the return of former GT skipper Hardik Pandya to Ahmedabad, but this time the maverick all-rounder will be donning the Mumbai blue.

It will be interesting to witness how the GT fanbase will react as the 30-year-old returns to lead their opposition.

Pandya, who enjoyed a massively successful spell with MI between 2015 and 2021, led GT to the title in their inaugural bid for the crown in 2022 and followed it up with another credible run to the final in the 2023 season.

Pandya was traded to MI ahead of the start of the season and was also handed the reins of the team as he was named captain to lead the unit over Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.
