In an interesting clash of different areas of expertise, popular anchor and cricket presenter, Gaurav Kapur has hinted at a podcast which features big names in India’s cricket circle and a popular British artist.
Gaurav uploaded a picture on his official handle on X (formerly known as Twitter) which includes the India captain, Rohit Sharma and the popular singer from the UK, Ed Sheeran. He captioned the post,” What’s cooking here?”

The popular cricket presenter has been the host of his show on YouTube, Breakfast with Champions, which had a variety of guests from the cricket fraternity.
Sheeran who is in Mumbai as part of his tour, was earlier playing some cricket. This was captured on the official Instagram of the popular celebrity, Tanmay Bhat.
The singer-songwriter also met some other popular figures in Indian cricket, the rising star, Shubman Gill.
Rohit Sharma on the other hand is in Mumbai and was part of Mumbai’s celebrations after clinching the Ranji Trophy 2024 title. This makes it the side’s 42nd title, thus extending their record as the most successful side in India’s domestic cricket tournament.
Rohit will be gearing up as he prepares himself for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024 with the Mumbai Indians yet again. The opening batter will look to showcase his best with the bat as he aims to get the side yet another title and take the lead as the most successful side of the tournament.
Fans will be excited to see the clash of two different universes if the podcast indeed comes out and will be an interesting dynamic to see the Indian skipper along with the popular singer.
The IPL 2024 season will begin with a blockbuster clash as the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the opening fixture at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
