The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 18 result final answer key today, March 21. Candidates who took the exam can check the same on the official AIBE website at allindiabarexamination.com. The results will be released based on the final answer key.

Candidates can use the final answer key and the marking scheme to calculate their probable scores. It is worth noting that the updated final answer key has excluded some questions, which may impact the AIBE 18 cutoff due to the reduction in the total number of questions.

“Please note that the results of the exam will be published based on this final answer key. We have thoroughly scrutinized and reviewed all objections received from the candidates, and the final answer key has been prepared accordingly. Kindly download the revised answer keys,” states the official notice.

Step 2. Navigate to the final answer key link on the homepage and click on it.

Step 3. A PDF file will open on the screen containing the final answer key.

Step 4. Carefully review and download for future reference.

AIBE XVIII: Marks Needed to Pass Exam

The Bar Council of India has revised the passing marks for AIBE 18. Candidates belonging to the general and OBC categories must achieve a minimum of 45 per cent to pass the exam. Earlier, the cut off percentage was set at 40 per cent. Whereas for SC and ST candidates, they will have to score at least 40 per cent. Earlier, it was 35 per cent.

The AIBE XVIII was conducted on December 10. The provisional answer key was released on December 12, 2023, and the objection-raising window was opened on December 13, 2023. Candidates were allowed to raise objections until midnight on December 20, 2023. The final answer key has been prepared and released only after considering the objections raised by the candidates.
