The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2024 results have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam is held for admission to classes 6 and 9 at 33 Sainik Schools across the country. Those students who appeared for the exam can check the results at the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/. Those who have qualified for the exams will next be called for further document verification and admission process.

AISSEE 2024: Top Things to Check on Scorecard

Candidates must cross-check the following details on the Sainik School entrance exam scorecard and in case of any discrepancy, they must report to the authorities immediately and get it rectified. These include:

— Roll number,

— Date of birth,

— Name of the exam,

— Name of the candidate,

— Category,

— Marks obtained.

The AISSEE 2024 was held on January 28. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated with CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and other Training Academies, for Officers. As per the official notification, the Ministry of Defence has approved 19 new Sainik Schools, and admission to class 6 of these schools will also be done through AISSEE-2024.

AISSEE 2024 was held in a pen-and-paper mode where examinees were given OMR sheets to mark their responses. The exam featured multiple-choice questions. For class 6, a total of 125 questions were asked for a total of 300 marks. For class 9, the total number of questions is 150 consisting of a total mark of 400. There is no negative mark for a wrong response. The question paper was available in 13 languages- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
