The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar has finally declared the results of the National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2024 at the official website scert.bihar.gov.in. All the candidates who had appeared for the exam can now check and download their marks. The Bihar NMMS exam was held on January 7 this year for students’ eligibility for the scholarship. The exam comprised two papers – The Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), each consisting of 90 questions carrying one mark each.

Along with the results, the council has also released the final Bihar NMMS final answer key 2024. Under the scheme, selected students will be provided a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum.

Bihar NMMS Result 2024: How to download?

Step 1: Visit the official website of State Council of Educational Research and Training at scert.bihar.gov.in.

Step 2: Look for tab ‘NMMSS: Academic Year 2023-24 (Project Year 2024-25) Result 2024 and click on it.

Step 3: A new page will open on the screen asking for Candidate’s login credentials. Fill the required information carefully and submit it.

Step 4: A PDF file will be displayed on the screen mentioning each candidate’s name roll number, father’s name, school name, school address, MAT marks obtained, SAT Marks obtained and the total marks.

Step 5: Search your roll number and check your marks and all the other information carefully.

Step 6: Download the PDF file and save it for future reference.

The Bihar NMMS 2024 answer key was released earlier on January 13, 2024 and candidates were given a time until January 20 to raise questions to the provisional answer key.

Bihar NMMS 2024: Passing Marks

In order to qualify for the exam, all the students who appeared for the exam must obtain at least 40 per cent marks in aggregate for the General Category and for SC, ST, and PH candidates the passing percentage was 32 per cent.

The NMMS exams are conducted annually by each state and Union Territory to award scholarships to the meritorious students of economically weaker sections and to encourage them to continue their education at the secondary stage.
