The Bihar Police Recruitment Board has released crucial details about the salary and allowances for the newly recruited police constables, addressing common queries from aspiring candidates.
The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has issued a notification for Bihar Police Constables, stating that the grade pay of the candidates selected for the post of Bihar Police Constable will be Rs. 2000. Their basic salary will be Rs. 21,700 and the gross salary will be between Rs. 30,000 to 40,000. Under the pay scale, the pay level of a Bihar Police Constable should be between Rs. 21,700 to Rs 69,000.
Apart from salary, the Bihar Police Constable will also get many types of allowances including monthly allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA).
