Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha was held on February 26, 2024. According to the latest reports, 1 lakh and 87 thousand teachers who have passed the test in Bihar will have to wait longer for posting. The Bihar Education Department will first organise the Competency Test 2. After this, teachers will be posted accordingly. Education Minister Sunil Kumar has confirmed this information. In a recent interview, he said that a meeting is going on in the department regarding competency. It is believed that the first competency test will be conducted, and after this, the posting will be done. He assured that its results will also be released soon and that there will not be much delay in counselling. The Education Minister also informed that after counselling, the posting of teachers will be done through randomisation using software. Applications for home block will be taken only from those who are disabled and sick later, and the committee will consider them. After which, they will be posted again.
Sunil Kumar also gave important information about the guest teachers, physical education and health instructors removed from Plus 2. He said that the education department is considering this issue. The education minister, while explaining his goal, said that instructions have been given to conduct the BPSC TRE 3.0 examination soon and release the result. Work is going on to promote quality education.
According to the information received from the education department, 5,313 teachers in the 11th and 12th grades, 20,354 in the 9th–10th grades, 22,941 in the 6th–8th grades, and 1,3910 in the 1st–5th grades have been successful in the competency examination. All of them are going to become special teachers. Now, these teachers were asked to choose three districts while filling out the form for the competency examination. Teachers have been allotted districts on the basis of marks obtained in the competency examination and reservation.
