BPSC Head Teachers Recruitment Exam Date Extended To Last Week Of June
BPSC Head Teacher Recruitment have vacancies for a total of 6,061 posts for Head Master and 40,247 posts for Head Teacher.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the vacancies for Head Teachers in Primary Schools under the Education Department, Govt. Of Bihar. The examination commission had fixed the examination date to June 22. It has now been extended to the last week of June.

The commission said that the date has been extended because of the upcoming Bihar Combined Competitive Examination (BCECE 2024). He said that the date of the engineering entrance examination was fixed so to avoid the clash the date of the Headmaster’s examination has been extended to the last week of June.

The commission said that this exam can be conducted between June 25 and 30. There were vacancies for a total of 6,061 posts for Head Master and 40,247 posts for Head Teacher. A total of about 1.5 lakh candidates have filled out the form. The result of the examination is expected to be out in July. The selection will be done based on the written test and interview.

The vacancies issues for the unreserved category under the Bihar Head Teacher Recruitment 2024 is 10,081 vacancies while there are 4,018 vacancies for the EWS category. For the SC, 8,041 vacant seats are fixed while 806 seats are fixed for the ST category. The candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the post. The candidates must have passed a university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. The headteacher must have a minimum of 8 years of regular service as a basic grade teacher of any organisation. The candidate’s age should not be more than 60 years.

The BPSC Head Teacher Recruitment Exam Pattern 2024 will follow 150 questions of one mark each that the candidates need to solve in two hours. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The questions from the General Studies and Diploma of Elementary Education will consist of 75 questions each.

he syllabus for Genera studies covers various topics including General Science, Current Affairs, Indian Polity, Geography, Indian economy, Mental Ability Test, History and Mathematics. Qualifying marks vary by category. General candidates have to score 40 per cent whereas SC/ST have to score 34 per cent marks.
