Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh has begun the Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) counselling round 2 registration on August 22. The official notification states that the deadline for round 2 CG PET registration and choice filling is August 27. CG PET 2024 couselling involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the institute. The results of the CG PET 2024 round 2 seat allocation will be released on August 29. The admission period for the allotted colleges for CG PET will open on August 30 and run until September 3. Students will need to report with their CG PET seat allotment letter. The merit list will be declared on September 12.
CG PET 2024 Round 2 Counselling: How to Register
Step 1: Go to sicm.cgstate.gov.in/DTEOnline2024, CG PET official website.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the preferred links to get redirected to the counselling portal.
Step 3: You will be taken to the counselling portal page after selecting the “Click To Apply” option next to the pertinent links.
Step 4: Now click on “New Registration” or login if you have already registered.
Step 5: Fill up your information including Board,City, Preferred Choices etc.
Step 6. Check the details carefully and click on “ Submit”
Step 7. For future reference bookmark the tab or download the form.

To move on to the next round, candidates who enrolled for the CG PET 2024 round 2 counselling must finish the choice-filling process. The links are open for candidates for both Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) and Bachelor of Technology (Lateral Entry) courses.
Candidates will be able to check the seat allocation results, once released by entering their application number and password on the official website. For Chhattisgarh state quota seats, the allotment will be done based on merit and the allotment of other seats will be done based on JEE Main scores.
