The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has once again extended the application deadline for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2024. As per the latest updates, the last date to register for the COMEDK UGET 2024 is Wednesday, April 10. Earlier, the deadline for the same was April 8, 2024. Candidates who have not yet registered for the COMEDK UGET 2024 exam can submit their applications via the official website at comedk.org.

“Due to festival holidays and requests from parents and students, the Last Date is now extended to 4:30 pm of 10th April. Test Cities are subject to availability,” reads the official website of COMEDK.

Once the registration process closes, the COMEDK UGET 2024 application correction facility will open on April 12 and continue until April 16.

COMEDK UGET 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to COMEDK’s official website at comedk.org.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click the ‘COMEDK UGET 2024 exam’ registration link.

Step 3: As a new window opens, fill out the registration form by entering your name, email address, and contact number.

Step 4: Upload the essential documents and pay the application fees as asked.

Step 5: Check all the details and submit the form.

According to the official schedule, the COMEDK UGET exam this year will be held on May 12. The admit card for the entrance exam will be released on May 6. Candidates who have successfully registered for the test will be able to access the hall tickets using their credentials such as registration number and date of birth (DoB).

This year, the exam will be held in two sessions. First from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (morning) and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (afternoon). It is a computer-based test (CBT), which will be administered for three hours. The physics, chemistry, and mathematics sections of the exam will each comprise 180 questions. Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, with no negative marking in the exam.

To apply for the COMEDK UGET 2024 exam, candidates must have completed Class 12 or any other similar test recognised by the state or central government. Those for the general category must have received at least 45 per cent in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry; whereas candidates for the reserved category, who are from SC, ST, and OBC applicants, must have received at least 40 per cent.
