The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has announced a walk-in interview as part of its 2024 recruitment campaign for various positions. Interested candidates can access the detailed notification on the official website at www.esic.gov.in. The interview is scheduled for March 6. It will be held at ESIC Hospital Peenya, Bangalore from 9:15 AM to 11 AM. The selected candidates will have to join immediately within 15 days from the date of receiving the Selection order.

This recruitment campaign is conducted to fill 11 vacancies, comprising 5 positions for Senior Resident Against GDMO posts and 6 positions for the Senior Resident Under Three Year Scheme.

ESIC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must hold either an MBBS with a PG Degree/Diploma in the relevant speciality or an MBBS with two years of working experience in the concerned department. However, preference will be given to a PG-qualified candidate, according to the official notice.

Age Limit

Candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit of 45 years.

ESIC Recruitment 2024: Documents Required for Interview

Candidates must bring photocopies (duly self-attested) and originals of:

–– Matriculation certificate (as proof of age)

–– MBBS, PG Degree certificate (if applicable)

–– SC/ST/OBC certificate

–– KMC registration certificate

–– Experience certificate (if applicable)

–– Two passport-sized photos

In the official notice, candidates must adhere to various guidelines, including the possibility of changes in the number of vacancies without prior notice and the inadmissibility of TA/DA for the walk-in interview or joining the post. Both positions require a security deposit, with Rs. 35,000 for Senior Resident Against GDMO and Rs. 95,000 for Senior Resident under the three-year scheme. Candidates must be registered with the Karnataka Medical Council or Medical Council of India (MCI) before joining the post.

The selected candidate must give one month’s notice before resigning; otherwise, they will be liable to pay one month’s salary or the equivalent shortfall in the notice period. Additionally, candidates who have previously worked as a Senior Resident under the three-year Central Senior Residency scheme for three years are ineligible to apply. Private practice is strictly prohibited for the selected candidates, as they will receive a non-practicing allowance. Any violation will result in appropriate action as outlined in the relevant rules. According to the notice, the decision of the selection board will be final on all selection aspects, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstance.
