The Institute of Chartered Accountants Of India (ICAI) has announced the revised dates of the CA May 2024 exams. The CA inter exams for group I will be held on May 3, 5, and 9 and the group II exams will be conducted on May 11, 15, 17. The group 1 final exams will be administered on May 2, 4, and 8 while the group II exams will be conducted on May 10, 14, and 16. Furthermore, the International Taxation — Assessment Test or INTT-AT will be held on May 14 and 16.
Candidates can check the detailed revised schedule on the official website at icai.org. “It may further be noted that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule mentioned above, being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Authority,” reads the official notice by ICAI.
The institute had postponed the CA intermediate and final exams for the May session following the announcement of this year’s general election dates for the 18th Lok Sabha. The elections will commence on April 19 and the results will be out on June 4. “It is hereby notified for general information that in view of Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha across India, Chartered Accountant Examinations, May 2024 stand rescheduled,” the notice added.

The ICAI had earlier announced that the Foundation and Inter exams will be held thrice every year. It was being administered twice a year. A Central Council Member (CCM) of the ICAI, Dhiraj Khandelwal, announced the change, “Welcoming move by the ICAI to bring a beneficial change in favour of the CA student fraternity by introducing CA examinations thrice a year for CA Foundation and CA Inter level. Further Updates shall be clarified by the ICAI soon.”
