There is great news for government job aspirants who aspire to join the Indian armed forces. The Indian army has recently announced a recruitment drive to recruit 450 candidates for Short Service Commission Medical Officer (SSC-MO) positions under the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). - Total number of Medical Officer (MO) posts: 450
- Number of seats for male candidates: 338

Education Qualification:
Candidates applying for the Medical Officer (MO) posts under the Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) must have an MBBS degree from any recognised university or institution.
Age limit:
- The maximum age limit for candidates with an MBBS degree who wish to apply for the above-mentioned positions is 30 years.
- Candidates with a PG Degree applying for these positions must be aged 35 years old.
Application fee:
Candidates who wish to apply for the above-mentioned positions will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. The application fee must be paid online. Candidates should pay the application fee to complete the application process.
Selection procedure:
The selection of the candidates will be done based on an interview that will be held in Delhi tentatively in August or September 2024, according to the official notification. This round will be followed by document verification and a medical test.
