The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the release of the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) 2024 city intimation slips, specifically catering to candidates appearing for BArch and BPlanning. As an integral step in the examination process, candidates who successfully submitted their JEE Main application forms can now access their respective exam city slips by logging into the official portal at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
JEE Main 2024 exam sessions and schedule
The JEE Main 2024 examination is scheduled to take place in two distinct sessions. The first session is set to occur from January 24 to February 1, while the second and final session is slated for April 1 to 15, 2024.
For the innitial session, the examination dates for BArch and BPlanning (Paper 2A and Paper 2B) are January 24 (2nd Shift). Additionally, the examination dates for BE or BTech (Paper 1) are spread across January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1.
As per the official notice, an advanced intimation regarding the allotment of examination city for the sessions scheduled on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2024, will be released subsequently.
JEE Main 2024 advance city slip: Steps to download
Candidates who have registered for the JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam can follow the below steps to download their advanced city intimation slip:
Step 1. Visit the official JEE Main website for the year 2024:jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the designated link for ‘Download JEE Main City Slip’ prominently displayed on the homepage.
Step 3. Enter the required details, including JEE Main 2024 application number, date of birth, and the captcha code shown on the screen. Click ‘Submit.’
Step 4. Upon successful login, the JEE Main session 1 city slip will be visible.
Step 5. Download the city intimation slip and retain a printed copy for future reference.
Important points regarding JEE Main 2024 exam city slip
–– The advanced city intimation slip contains crucial details such as the exam date and the allotted city.
–– While it serves the purpose of informing candidates about their designated exam centre, it is not mandatory to bring the intimation slip to the session 1 examination.
–– Candidates are advised to thoroughly verify the information on the city slip and promptly contact the NTA in case of any discrepancies.
