The provisional answer key for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 has been released on February 6. Candidates can now download the answer key for the JEE Main Session 1 along with their recorded responses directly from the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2024 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between January 24 and February 1.
The last date to raise objection is February 8. Candidates are allowed a window where they can object to the answers to one or more questions by paying Rs 200 per question. The NTA will then review the feedback provided by the candidates and then announce the final answer key.
“The Provisional Answer Keys of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) along with the Question Papers with Recorded Responses have been uploaded on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in/ for interested candidates to submit challenge to the Provisional Answer Keys (if any) online by paying non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) per question challenged,” reads the official notice by NTA.
JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Answer Key 2024: How to download?
The NTA JEE Mains provisional answer key can be downloaded using a few simple steps including the following –
Step 1- First, you will have to visit the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2 – Then click on the tab that specifies the JEE Mains 2024 Answer Key.
Step 3 – Use your application number and date of birth to log in.
Step 4 – After entering your credentials click on submit and the JEE Mains 2024 answer key should be displayed on your screen.
Step 5 – You can now download the NTA JEE Main answer key and take a printout for future reference.
How to challenge the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Answer Key?
Here is a list of steps to follow if you’re looking to challenge the NTA JEE Main 2024 provisional answer key –
Step 1 – The primary step is to visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2 – Then you will be required to find the ‘Challenges Regarding JEE Main answer key 2024’ section and click on it.
Step 3 – Enter your application number and password when prompted.
Step 4 – The answer key for JEE Main 2024 will contain the question ID and the correct answers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Step 5 – If there is any error, candidates will be allowed to challenge the question by selecting one or more IDs.
Step 6 – Click on the ‘Save your claim’ tab and then click on Next.
Step 7 – The challenged question IDs will now appear on your screen.
Step 8 – The next step is to provide the necessary documents to support your claim for a change.
Step 9 – You will have to upload the file in PDF form, using the ‘choose file’ button on your screen.
Step 10 – The last step is to pay a fee of Rs 200 for every question that has been objected to. It can be done online through a credit card, debit card or net banking.
As per the official notice, if any challenge made by the candidate is found correct, the answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised final answer keys, the result will be prepared and released in due course of time.
