The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) session 2 application process today, March 2. Candidates who are eligible to apply for the Session 2 exam must do so at the earliest on the official website of JEE at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Aspirants should note that the second session of JEE Main is going to take place between April 1 to April 15. However, the session 1 examination concluded on February 1.
The National Testing Agency has also issued a notice informing that the candidates who have applied, successfully paid the exam fee for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 and are willing to appear for the JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 2, are required to key in their credentials such as their previous application number and password on the portal to login. Students can only choose the Paper, Medium of the Exam, Cities for Session 2, State code of Eligibility, educational qualification details, and pay the exam fees on the Application tab.
However, for candidates who have not applied earlier but are willing to appear for the April session, need to apply afresh according to the schedule provided.
“The candidates are not allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Any candidate with more than one Application Number will be treated as Unfair Means, even if found at a later stage, and strict action will be taken against that Candidate.” reads the official notification.
JEE Main Session 2 Registrations: Here’s How To Apply
Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of JEE at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and select the registration and login link for JEE Main 2024 session 2.
Step 3: Now, fill out the registration form with the provided instructions and click on the Submit button.
Step 4: Upload the scanned documents in the mentioned format and pay the application fees.
Step 5: Once done, download the registration form and print a hardcopy of the same for further use.
JEE Main 2024: Documents Required
1. Scanned image of the candidate’s signature.
2. Scanned image of passport-size photo.
3. Category certificate (if applicable).
4. Person with Disabilities (PWD) certificate (if applicable).
5. Identity proof like a bank passbook photo, Aadhaar card, or ration card.
The JEE Main Session 2 will be conducted following the conclusion of the CBSE class 12 board exams. The exam will take place in a single shift every day, i.e., from 10:30 AM up to 1:30 PM.
