The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2024 tentative allotment results for round one. Candidates who cleared the Karnataka DCET can now check the official website, keaonline.karnataka.gov.in, to select the colleges and courses of their choice. Applicants will be able to view and download the first tentative allotment result for round 1 of the DCET 2024 by entering their CET number. Upon receiving an allotment in round 1, candidates are required to visit the official KEA website to confirm their acceptance.
The Karnataka DCET entrance exam is held for students wishing to enter UG engineering and architecture programmes. In Karnataka, the exam supports lateral entry admissions into first-year architectural courses, third-semester engineering courses, and second-year engineering programmes.
Karnataka DCET 2024: How to Check Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?
Step 1. Go to kea.kar.nic.in, the official website of KEA.
Step 2. Select “Admissions” from the homepage’s menu.
Step 3. Choose ‘Diploma CET 2024’ from the list of choices.
Step 4. Enter your login information.
Step 5. The file confirming your seat allotment will appear on the screen.
Step 6. Verify the details of the allotted seat and save the page for future reference.
The temporary seat allotment is determined by a candidate’s rank, the preferences they indicated on their application, and the availability of seats. After being given a seat, candidates must download their seat allotment letter, pay the required fee, and finish the admissions process within the stipulated period. If a candidate is satisfied with their seat allocation, they must verify their acceptance online and report to the assigned college to complete the necessary paperwork and admissions procedures. On the KEA website, the deadline for this procedure will be disclosed.
This year, the DCET 2024 exam was administered by KEA on June 22nd, and the results were released on June 29th. Applicants can wait for further counselling rounds if they are dissatisfied with their round 1 seat allocation. The next set of counselling dates will be announced shortly by the KEA.
