The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) started the registration process for the special round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET SS 2023) counselling today, February 5. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET SS 2023 exam can apply for the special counselling round on MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in. The deadline for applications is set for February 6.
The application fee for NEET SS counselling 2023 is Rs 5,000, and it is non-refundable. Additionally, candidates are required to submit a refundable security deposit fee of Rs 2 lakh to complete the registration process for NEET SS counselling 2023 special round.
This special round comes in response to the recent decision by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to reduce the NEET SS cut-off to zero, making all candidates who appeared for the exam eligible for counselling.
NEET SS counselling 2023: How to Apply
Step 1: Open the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the NEET SS tab and find the link for new registration.
Step 3: Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Step 4: Pay the registration fee and security deposit.
Step 5: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
Step 6: Keep a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

NBEMS has made a significant update to the qualifying percentile for NEET SS Counselling 2023. As per the revised guidelines, candidates who have fulfilled the requirements of their Postgraduate (PG) Degree by the National Medical Commission (NMC) norms and have taken the NEET-SS 2023 exam for the academic year 2023 are now eligible to participate in the upcoming special round of NEET-SS Counselling.
