NIRF 2024: A Look At Top 10 Colleges Under Delhi University

If you have applied for admission to a Delhi University UG course, you can check your name on the seat allotment list at du.ac.in, the university’s official website. So far, Delhi University has issued two lists of seat allotment. The first semester of the UG course at Delhi University will begin on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Students are recommended to finish the admissions process as soon as feasible.

Top 10 Colleges Of Delhi University (DU) As Per NIRF Ranking 2024:

Hindu College:

Hindu College, ranked first in the NIRF 2024, is famed for its academic brilliance and dynamic campus life and offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It has secured the top spot with a score of 74.47, after coming in second place the previous year with a score of 72.39. The college performed well in the Governance and Outreach (GO) measures, scoring 90.57 and Perception, scoring 95.21.

Miranda House:

Miranda House, ranked second, is one of India’s leading women’s institutions, noted for its emphasis on liberal arts and sciences. This year’s score was 73.22, while last year’s score was 74.81. Interestingly, the Miranda House has claimed the top spot for the past three years in a row from 2017.

St. Stephen’s College:

St. Stephen’s, ranked third, is one of Delhi University’s oldest and most prominent colleges, known for its rich history and notable graduates. It received an excellent score of 72.97 in the NIRF 2024 rankings, but in 2023 it was 14th on the list with a score of 67.83.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College:

This college ranked fifth, is known for its academic rigour and commitment to comprehensive education, offering a variety of degrees in the arts, business and sciences. Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College received a 72.59 score in the NIRF 2024 rankings, up from the 6th previous year with 70.78.

Kirori Mal College:

Kirori Mal College maintained its ninth-place ranking from the previous year. It is popular for its lively campus and emphasis on extracurricular activities in addition to its academic programs. This year, the college received a 69.86 on the NIRF 2024 rankings list, which is similar to the previous year’s 69.32 score.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women:

Lady Shri Ram College, ranked 10th, is a premier women’s college known for its strong academic standards and active involvement in social causes. This secured the 9th position in the NIRF 2023 rankings, with a score of 69.32, indicating strong performance across multiple metrics. This year it received a score of 69.49.

Hans Raj College:

Hans Raj College, ranked 12th, is a renowned college that offers a wide range of courses, with a focus on research and innovation. This is the third consecutive year that the college has been placed among the top 50 in the country. This reputable college received a 68.76 score in the NIRF 2024 rankings and a 68.42 mark in 2023.

Deshbandhu College:

Deshbandhu College in Delhi finished 16th in the NIRF 2024 rankings, with a score of 66.03. Last year, it was ranked lower, with a 65.22 score. Deshbandhu College is known for its dedicated teachers and well-rounded academic offerings, which serve a varied student body.

Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC):

Ranked 18th, this college is well-known for its science programs and research-oriented education, which fosters a culture of scientific inquiry. It also received a score of 64.73 on the ranking list this year. The NIRF classified the ANDC as 21st in 2023, with a score of 63.85.

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC):

SRCC, ranked 19th, is a premier commerce institution in India, known for its tough curriculum and excellent business contacts. It nearly achieved the same score as Acharya Narendra Dev College, 64.56. It ranked 11th on the NIRF list last year, scoring 68.86.
