Students of class 10 and class 12 were unable to attend the MP board exams 2024 as they did not have their admit cards. The private school in question is allegedly Archana Vidhyapeeth School

A shocking incident has come to light in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh as 74 school students missed their board exams after a private school failed to issue their admit cards. As per reports, students of class 10 and class 12 were unable to attend the exams as they did not have their admit cards. According to ANI, the private school in question is the Archana Vidhyapeeth School. The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) issued the admit cards in January. School students are supposed to collect the admit cards from their respective schools. Without the admit card the students are not allowed to sit for the exam.

After the students missed their board exams following the unavailability of the admit cards, the students and their parents blocked the Sardarpur Badnawar road in protest and demanded that the government take remedial action. The protesting students claimed that the private school promised that it would issue admit cards on Monday but failed to do so.

A parent told ANI, “The Archana Vidyapeeth of Rajod is run as a Higher Secondary School but 31 children of class 10th and 44 children of class 12th studying in the school are in trouble.” A student, who missed her exam expressed worry about having to repeat an academic year and said, “We were told on Friday that our exams were unlikely to happen. We want to appear for our exams. Our academic year must not be wasted.”

The MP board will hold Class 10 board exams from February 5 to February 28, while the Class 12 board exam is scheduled to take place from February 6 to March 5.

District education officer Laxman Deora assured the parents that prompt action would be taken against the offending party. He mentioned that a letter was addressed to the “concerned department and board” about the non-issuance of admit card 2024 to Class 10 and 12 students.

The MP state board held Hindi exam for Class 12 students today. The board also responded to rumours of a Class 10 Hindi paper leak and said that there was no paper leak. The board blamed anti-social elements for attempting to distract students from exams by spreading fake news on paper leaks.
