The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the RBI Grade B Notification 2024. Registrations for the recruitment drive, which aims to fill 94 positions within the organisation, began on July 25, 2024, and will continue until August 16, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official RBI website — rbi.org.in.
Candidates need to fill out the forms online from the official RBI website. The form includes personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information. There is usually a non-refundable application fee that varies depending on the category of the candidate and the mode of payment is online.
RBI Recruitment Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should hold a graduation degree in any discipline/ Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum of 60 per cent marks (50 per cent marks for backward classes) or post-graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 55 per cent in aggregate of all semesters/years. Moreover, candidates who are appearing for the examination should be more than 21 years of age and should not have attained the age of 30 as of July 1, 2024. There are relaxations on the upper age limit for the backward classes according to government norms.

RBI Recruitment Exam 2024: Application Fees
The application fee for SC, ST, and PWD categories is Rs 100 + 18 per cent GST. Whereas for the general, OBC, and EWS categories, it is Rs 850 + 18 per cent GST.
RBI Recruitment Exam 2024: Selection Process
The selection process for RBI grade B officers normally involves three phases.
Phase I – Preliminary examination: This is an objective-type exam that tests candidates on general awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and English language skills.
Phase II – Main Examination: This phase consists of both objective and descriptive papers. It includes specific papers related to the job role such as Economic and Social Issues, English Writing Skills, and Finance and Management.
Phase III – Interview: Candidates who clear the main examination are called for an interview. The interview assesses candidates’ overall suitability for the role, including their knowledge, communication skills, and personality.
The Phase I and Phase II examinations for the RBI Grade B recruitment will take place in September and October 2024.
