RBSE Class 8 Board Exam 2024: According to the timetable, the first exam will be for English today, followed by Mathematics and Science on March 30 and April 1 respectively

The Rajasthan Board of School Education (RBSE) is set to commence from today, March 28, 2024. The exams will span over a week, concluding on April 4, 2024. According to the timetable, the first exam will be for English today, followed by Mathematics and Science on March 30 and April 1 respectively. The exams will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

Students appearing for the RBSE Class 8 exams must carry their admit cards to the exam centers. It is advised that students arrive at the exam centre well before the reporting time specified in their admit cards, as latecomers will not be allowed to enter. The examination will be conducted at 9601 examination centres in the state. Around 1,16,893 students are registered in Jaipur for RBSE class 8th examination.

While announcing the exam dates, the board emphasised its zero-tolerance policy towards any form of cheating or malpractice. The board stated, “Malpractices in board examinations will not be tolerated at any cost.”

This academic year, a total of 12,64,913 students were enrolled in Class 8, out of which 12,52,127 have applied to appear for the RBSE Class 8 exams for the academic year 2023-24.

To pass the Rajasthan Board Class 8 exam 2024, candidates must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject.

Last year’s RBSE class 8 results saw 8,119 students achieving an A1 grade and 54,889 students securing an A2 grade. Additionally, 76,139 students passed with a C grade (50-60 per cent), and 1,16,262 students passed with a D grade (40-50 per cent). No merit list was announced last year.
