Neeraj Maheshwari, Chairman of the Indore-Dewas Chapter of CMA, has recently declared that the online registration for the National Youth Commerce Olympiad (NYCO) 2024 has begun from August 16. The students can register online till October 15. A multi-choice question (MCQ)–based online exam will be held on November 17.
Fees
The registration fee for participants is Rs 50. The Olympiad is divided into three categories: ‘A’ for classes 8th to 10th, ‘B’ for classes 11th and 12th and students pursuing CMA Foundation or CAT, ‘C’ for graduates, and CMA Intermediate and Final students.
Prizes
Participants will get a chance to win attractive prizes in each category. The prize for the first rank will be Rs 1 lakh, for the second rank Rs 50,000, and for the third rank Rs 20,000. Apart from this, the next 100 participants in each category will also get a consolation prize of Rs 500. Each participant will be given a digital certificate of participation.

CMA Ravindra Dubey, media in-charge of the Indore-Dewas Chapter, said that this prestigious national competition allows students to showcase their talents in commerce, management, and accounting.
The National Commerce Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in commerce, is held annually at the national and international levels based on the syllabus prescribed by STATE/CBSE/ICSE and the state boards. Apart from the syllabus, a part of the test paper is based on mental ability and reasoning.
