South East Central Railway Announces Recruitment For Asst Loco Pilot Posts At Nagpur Division

South East Central Railway (SECR) is inviting applications for the Assistant Loco Pilot in the Nagpur Division. It has released a total vacancy of 598 posts. The selected candidate will be paid under level 2 of the Pay Matrix. The general category of candidates is offered 464 seats whereas SC and ST are offered 89 and 45 seats respectively. Interested candidates need to apply for the preferred post before June 7. The eligible candidates need to submit a hard copy of the application form to their supervisor. As per the notification, the controlling officer has to forward all the applications in one bunch to the SECR office before June 14.

Candidates who are applying for this recruitment of Railways must have passed class 10 from any recognized board or institute. One should have an ITI certificate in the preferred post to become eligible for the recruitment. The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years. The maximum age for general category candidates is 42 years whereas SC and ST candidates can apply if their age is below 47 years. The candidate must be a regular employee of the Nagpur Division. The candidates who have been transferred to another railway division from Nagpur are not eligible for the post.

The selection of the candidate will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). CBT comprises two parts–Part A and Part B. The total duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The total number of questions will be 175. Part A will be of 90 minutes and will contain 100 questions. The minimum pass percentage for eligibility is 40 per cent for the general category.
