The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the application status for the Northern Region regarding the Combined Graduate Level Examination Tier-I (CGL) 2024. Candidates scheduled to take the exam can check their application progress on the SSC official website, sscnr.nic.in.

This year’s recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 vacancies. To verify the status of their application, candidates need to enter their registration number, date of birth and father’s name. The application status page will confirm their eligibility to appear for the exam. Applications that do not meet the necessary eligibility or qualification requirements are likely to be rejected.

SSC CGL 2024: How to Check North Region Application Status?

Step 1: Visit sscnr.nic.in, the SSC NR official website.

Step 2: Search for the SSC CGL Application status link under the ‘WhatsNew’ column.

Step 3: On the new page link for the rejected candidate list and application status check will appear.

Step 4: Candidates must fill out both pages with their registration number, father’s name and birthdate before clicking “Submit.”

Step 5: After submission, the application status for the SSC CGL Tier I exam 2024 will be shown.

Step 6: Review the status and bookmark the page for later use.

Previously, the SSC CGL tier 1 admit card has been made available for the Northeast, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. Eligible aspirants can download it from sscner.org.in, SSC official website.

SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 2024: Documents Required

Candidate must carry an original photo identity card having the Date of Birth as printed on the Admission Certificate. The candidate must bring an additional certificate, in original form, as proof of Date of Birth if the Photo Identity Card does not contain it.

Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam if the Date of Birth on the Admission Certificate and the photo ID or certificate proving the Date of Birth are not the same.

SSC CGL 2024: Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL 2024 Tier I test is scheduled to take place from September 9 to September 26. There will be four distinct shifts for the exams.9 AM to 10 AM is the first shift, 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM is the second shift, 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM is the third shift, and 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM is the fourth exam shift.

During the exam, candidates will be evaluated on various subjects, including General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Each section will feature 25 questions, with a total of 50 marks available per section. The test will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in both Hindi and English, except for the English Comprehension section, which will be in English only. A penalty of 0.50 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
