The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has announced that the Tamil Nadu Class 12 Hall Ticket 2024 for private candidates will be released on February 19. The admit cards for both Higher Secondary first year and second year will be made available. Candidates slated to participate in the March Public examination can conveniently access and download their admit cards via the official DGE TN website at dge.tn.gov.in.
The TN Class 12 board exam for the year 2024 is set to take place from March 1 to 22 at multiple exam centres throughout the state. The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) board exams for private candidates are scheduled to take place during March-April, with supplementary examinations set for June-July.
Private Candidates can secure their hall tickets by simply entering their application number along with their date of birth. The admit card will include crucial details such as the examination centre allotted to the candidate, the date of the examination, and the timings for each exam session.

Follow these simple steps to download the hall tickets:
Step 1: Go to the official website of DGE TN at dge.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, find the hall ticket link.
Step 3: Click on the Tamil Nadu 12th Hall Ticket 2024 link.
Step 4: Input the necessary login credentials and click on submit.
Step 5: The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Verify the details and download it.
Step 7: Ensure to keep a printed copy for future reference.
As per the official notice, candidates appearing for both the Higher Secondary First Year (+1 Arrear) and Second Year (+2) Public Examinations will receive only one Hall Admit Card, valid for both examinations. Under the new pattern, the allocation of internal marks does not apply to direct private candidates. Theory marks obtained up to 90 will be converted to a scale of 100 marks. To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 35 marks in each subject.
The Tamil Nadu board has announced that Class 12 question papers will be available in both Tamil and English mediums. Additionally, for 10 subjects including physics, chemistry, biology, botany, zoology, mathematics, history, commerce, economics, and accountancy, question papers will also be offered in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Urdu mediums.
