The Uttar Pradesh National Health Mission (NHM) has initiated the online application process for the position of Community Health Officer (CHO). Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Uttar Pradesh NHM at upnrhm.gov.in. The application process began on January 29, and the last date for online submissions is February 7. The recruitment drive aims to fill 5,582 contractual vacancies for Community Health Officers (CHO).
UP NHM Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: Candidates seeking the aforementioned post should be between the ages of 21 and 40.
Educational Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have completed a BSc (Nursing) with the integrated curriculum of a Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) OR a Post Basic BSc (Nursing) course with the integrated curriculum of a Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognised University or Institute from the academic year 2020 onwards.

Step 1: Candidates need to log in to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh National Health Mission (NHM) at upnrhm.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the ‘Opportunity’ link and click on it.
Step 3: Then, click on the link that reads, “Recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHO).”
Step 4: Once you click on the link, a new page will be displayed on the screen, where candidates need to fill out the application form.
Step 5: Upload all the required documents in the mentioned size and format.
Step 6: Cross-check all the details in the application form and hit the submit button.
Step 7: Save a printout of the same for future records.
UP NHM Recruitment 2024:COVID Experience Weightage Criteria
Candidates involved in COVID Management as outsourced/contractual/temporary HR and who worked at Public Health facilities or in the Management of COVID through administration under the Department of Medical Health and Medical Education in UP will receive additional marks based on their engagement duration:
–– 5 Marks for completing six months (cumulative) of active engagement.
–– 10 Marks for completing one year (cumulative) of active engagement.
–– 15 Marks for completing one year and six months (cumulative) of active engagement.
The official notification further states that candidates who are successfully recruited for the post of Community Health Officer on a contractual basis at sub-centre level HWCs shall be paid Rs 20,500 (Twenty Thousand Five Hundred) per month honoraria and up to Rs 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) per month performance-based incentive (PBI) after being posted in the allocated district as a Community Health Officer, subject to guidelines issued by the Government of India.
