In less than 72 hours from now, Bigg Boss 17 will have a winner. While everyone is eager to know who will lift the trophy of Salman Khan’s show this year, Shalin Bhanot has now said that he wants Abhishek Kumar to emerge as the winner.
In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Shalin Bhanot confirmed that he would be appearing on the last Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 17. The actor, who was also a part of the show’s previous season, extended his support to Abhishek Kumar and called him a “sweet boy”. Shalin argued that Abhishek has “suffered” a lot in the Bigg Boss 17 house and added that the former Udaariyaan actor should be the winner. It should be noted that Bhanot and Kumar worked together in the show Bekaboo.
“I think he has gone through a tough time. I know him. He is a nice, very good kid. He has suffered a lot inside the house. He has been mocked on camera. I did not like it. I want people to know that when you are honest yourself, you overcome tough times, you win,” Shalin told us.
However, when asked about Abhishek’s toughest competition on the show, Shalin shared that he knows Ankita Lokhande and Munawar Faruqui too, and therefore would be happy if any of them gets the trophy. “Ankita (Lokhande) is a very dear friend of mine. I wish her all the very best. I have met Munawar (Faruqui) a couple of times. I know him. He is a nice guy. I know these three people personally, I would like it if the trophy goes in between these three,” he said.
Bigg Boss 17 finale will be held on Sunday, January 28. Five contestants competing for the trophy are – Abhishek Kumar, Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mahashetty. Voting lines for the Bigg Boss 17 winner are currently open.
