Sharvari opened up about working with Rani Mukerji during Bunty Aur Babli 2, sharing her fan girl moment and the warmth she experienced.

Sharvari, one of Bollywood’s rising stars, has been winning hearts with her performances in recent releases such as Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa. After making her debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2 alongside Rani Mukerji, Sharvari recently opened up in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha about her experience working with the veteran actress.

Reflecting on her first encounter with Rani Mukerji, Sharvari admitted, “I was very nervous actually because Rani ma’am is someone I’ve always looked up to. As a child, I used to watch her films in theatres, come back home, and reenact her scenes and songs. She’s been a huge inspiration behind my desire to become an actor. So, meeting her for the first time was a really big moment for me. But she’s an incredible person, and within moments, she made me feel comfortable, and all my nerves disappeared.”

Sharvari recalled how her initial apprehensions soon faded after spending more time with Rani during rehearsals. “Me and Siddhant [Chaturvedi] thought the first meeting was fun and casual. And then, after a couple of readings and prep sessions, we got to know her better. She became more friendly, and it was exactly what we hoped for,” she shared.

When asked if Rani Mukerji ever seemed intimidating, Sharvari reassured, “Not at all. She’s just a lovely human being. Even though she’s a superstar, she never gave off an intimidating vibe. As someone who grew up watching her, I was a total fan girl, but meeting her was an absolute joy.”

Sharvari also reflected on her journey in Bollywood, saying, “My journey keeps me grounded and reminds me of the tough days I’ve had, which is why I remain humble. I’ve always looked forward to moments like these when my work gets appreciated. The audience’s response has been a huge validation for me as an actor, and it reassures me that I’m on the right path.”

On the professional front, Sharvari is gearing up for her role in Alpha, a highly anticipated project from Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film will feature Sharvari and Alia Bhatt as super-agents, alongside Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. Alpha is set to make history as the first action film in YRF’s spy universe to be led by two female protagonists. With a substantial budget and immense buzz surrounding the project, this marks Sharvari’s most expensive film to date, as well as her first collaboration with Alia Bhatt.
