Brazil's Ronaldo is a 'monster'
Ronaldo has been on the receiving end of some verbal banter from his colleagues.

New Delhi: Former Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has been given a new nickname by his Corinthians team mates and he is now known as the 'Monster'.

Argentine midfielder Sergio Escudero has revealed the Brazilian hitman's new name and he cannot wait to play alongside him.

'Il Fenomeno' has not made his Corinthian's bow yet as he is some way off full fitness.

Nevertheless, Escudero, who joined the Brazilian side in December, has poured some sweet and sour words on the player also known as the 'Chicken Phenomenon'.

"I never dreamed that I could play with a monster like Ronaldo. Monster in a football sense," Escudero told Globoesporte.com.

"He (Ronaldo) is a very important player, one of the best in the world. I hope he can come back well to help us."

Reports suggest Corinthians striker Neto Otacilio has also named Ronnie as the 'Chicken Phenonmenon'.

Milan defender Thiago Silva was known by Fluminense fans as the 'monster' when he played for the Brazilian side before moving to Serie A in December.

Ronaldo is currently working hard to get back to his best, but he has been spotted night clubbing on several occasions over the past month.
