Before kick-off, a rendition of ‘You Never Walk Alone,’ from the 1945 musical which is now the theme song of the club, was played which saw the manager controlling his emotions ahead of the fixture.
Liverpool then went on to secure a dominant 5-2 victory to progress to the next stage of the FA Cup thanks to goals from Curtis Jones, Darwin Nunes, Diogo Jota, Virgil Van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch.

In the post-match presentation, Klopp was asked regarding the reception he received. Happy with the win, the manager responded, “It is (emotional) but my job is too. It’s not always easy but I have to pull myself together and I received all the messages the people sent, I’m not made of wood so I get all of these.”
Klopp also endearingly said, “I said not too long ago, ‘Don’t sing the song during the game’ – people obviously stopped already listening to me, that’s good!”

The manager remains motivated to finish off the final season on a strong note. Currently, they are top of the Premier League and remain in the hunt for the FA Cup, Europa League and the EFL Cup as well. In the league, they stand at the top with 48 points while Arsenal are trailing behind them by five points with a game in hand so far.
The German has been pivotal in the resurgence of the club as a top contender in England and led the side to a Premier League title which the club last won 30 years ago. He also won them their sixth Champions League title as well to add to the honours list.
The fairy-tale ending will not be easy as they will have to contend with the likes of Manchester City led by Pep Guardiola, his biggest rival since his tenure at the club and the new face, Mikel Arteta who has been able to make Arsenal title contenders since last season as well.
After their win over Norwich, the club will now go up against Chelsea in the Premier League at Anfield once again. The fans, players and managers will have no intention of letting up their current run of form as they will aim to end the season on a high.
