Gervinho completes Roma move from Arsenal

London: Arsenal have announced forward Gervinho has completed his move to AS Roma for an undisclosed fee.

Gervinho had a medical at the Serie A club over the weekend and on Thursday Arsenal confirmed they had sold the Ivory Coast international. The 26-year-old forward spent two seasons at Arsenal after joining from Lille.

After training for several days on his own while his transfer was completed, Gervinho is reportedly on his way to Washington DC to link up with his new team-mates on their preseason tour of North America.
