Milan: Inter Milan could be ready to sign Manchester City defender Micah Richards this summer following a difficult season at the Etihad according to reports in The Sun. Richards made 7 appearances for the City last season due to injury.
At right-back, Richards is competing with Pablo Zabaleta and Macion, with Zabaleta being established as City's first choice right back. He can also play in central defence but getting first team opportunities in that position maybe even harder as Vincent Kompany and Matija Nastastic are cemented as City's first choice central defensive pairing.
Inter Milan could now come in for Richards and offer him the first team football. However, City want to try and keep Richards at the Etihad and are prepared to offer the defender a new contract even though he still has two years left on his current deal.
Richards knows how hard it will be to break into City's first team next season so is reluctant to sign a new deal.
